With over 20 years of experience in the hotel industry, Silvia Kypriotis will be leading the opening of the first 25hours Hotel in Australia. The Egyptian-born hotelier joined Accor in 2010 as Reservations Manager. During her career, she has held positions as Revenue Manager, Rooms Division Manager, Talent & Culture Manager and Executive Assistant Manager, Hotel Manager and General Manager within eight Accor hotels. The outstanding results she achieved with her team, as well as her empathetic and people-oriented leadership, were honoured with the title ‘HM Australian General Manager of the Year’ in 2021. Silvia’s latest project is the opening of the 25hours Hotel The Olympia. Once a busy and popular cinema in Paddington, from autumn 2025 the hotel will return to its role as a lively meeting place, offering 109 rooms over six floors, a restaurant, a bar, a street café and rooftop bar, creating an exciting destination for the local neighbourhood and travellers alike.
