How do I find the hotel?

Is it possible to park in front of the hotel to load and unload my luggage?

No, parking in front of the hotel is not possible. It is best to drive directly to our underground parking garage with direct access to Hotel. Information about parking in Florence can be found here.

Why are additional taxes charged on my booking?

Statutory VAT is already included in the booking price, but the City of Florence levies an additional accommodation tax, which must be settled on departure. Children under the age of 12 are exempt from this tax. The accommodation tax is due for a maximum of seven consecutive nights.

Is there a sauna?

The Finnish sauna is located outside in the green garden of Hotels. The use of sauna and rest area is free of charge for Hotelguests.

Is there an elevator at the hotel?

There are several passenger elevators in Hotel. The majority of the rooms are accessible by elevator. If you need guaranteed barrier-free access to the room, it is best to contact us in advance.

Is there a gym at the hotel?

The 70sqm fitness area is distributed on two floors. The cozy room on the first floor offers space for yoga or Pilates sessions and light exercise, while a fully equipped gym with Technogym equipment for cardio and strength training awaits one floor below.

The use of the fitness area is free of charge for Hotelguests.

Are there rooms with a connecting door?

The Hotel has a few rooms with connecting doors. For availability, it is best to inquire directly with our colleagues in the reservations department. Contact information can be found on the Hotelwebsite.

Is smoking allowed in the hotel?

The whole Hotel is a non-smoking area. It is possible to smoke in the garden or outside our Alimentari, in Piazza San Paolino.

Is laundry service available at the hotel?

Clothes dropped off at the reception before 9h will be cleaned until 19h on the same day (weekends and holidays excluded). Price list and laundry bag are available at the reception, as well as ironing board and iron.

Is luggage service available at the hotel?

We do not have porter service in the sense of brand standard, but we have a janitor on duty who is ready to help guests.

Is there a bicycle rental service?

A fleet of Schindelhauer brand organic and e-bikes is available for joyrides. It is not possible to reserve the bikes in advance. We lend the wheels according to the first-come-first-served principle.The colleagues at the reception can give info to different models and availability.

In the Gigantic rooms the Schindelhauer Bike is part of the room equipment. The personal bike is exclusively available for the entire duration of the stay.

Do the rooms come with tea, coffee and a kettle?

Tea and coffee making facilities are available in all rooms.

Where and when is breakfast served?

Breakfast is served daily from 7:30 to 10:30h in the San Paolino Restaurant on the first floor. The Alimentari with croissanterie and bakery is also open all day.

How do I book a table at the restaurant?

The San Paolino Restaurant is usually well attended. It is recommended to reserve a table. The best way to do this is by phone. Contact information can be found on the restaurant’s website.
